The latest additions to the growing line of MINOX Comfort Bridge binoculars have a larger objective lens to gather more light for brighter images, while still providing comfortable handling for extended viewing at sporting events or in the outdoors. There are two models – the BL 8×52 BR and for greater magnification, the BL 10×52 BR.
Sleek MINOX styling gives new meaning to the term “open bridge” and ensures the practical ergonomic advantages of enhanced comfort and secure handling, even one-handed. Despite their larger objective size, they weigh just 33.5 oz., and their comfortable grip will be appreciated during a long game or a full day in the field. Dimensions are about 5-3/4”x7-1/8”x2-1/2”.
Smooth and trim, they have a rubber-armored body made of space-age polycarbonate, which makes them rugged and impervious to weather, from 14° to 122° F, rain or snow. And with the MINOX sophisticated sealing technology, they are waterproof to more than 16 feet.
The “Best in Class” MINOX optical system has phase-corrected roof prisms, coupled with multi-coated lens elements, ensuring brilliant, pin-sharp images with natural color rendition, even in challenging low-light situations, with an impressive 20.4 twilight number. To capture moving objects fast and reliably, it has a wide field of view – 342 feet at 1,000 yards. Close focus is at 11”6”.
A nitrogen filling provides corrosion resistance and prevents fogging of the glass surfaces, even with severe temperature fluctuations. With extended eye relief and click-stop, twist-up retractable rubber eyecups, these new MINOX Comfort Bridge binoculars meet the needs of eyeglass wearers, allowing them to see the entire field without vignetting. It comes with a nylon strap and a carrying case. With all of these advantages, the retail price is an affordable $579 for the 8x; $599 for the 10x.
